Your job just moved you into the middle of a manufacturing boom.
Hankook, LG, and a growing lineup of Korean manufacturers have turned Clarksville into one of Tennessee's fastest growing job markets. If one of them is why you are relocating, here is what to know before you buy a home here.

The Corridor at a Glance
Clarksville's Korean manufacturing employers
A quick look at who is hiring and building here right now, plus what is still on the way.
Opened in 2017 with an $800 million plant. A 2022 expansion will double passenger and light truck capacity, add the plant's first U.S. truck and bus radial production, and create roughly 1,200 additional jobs. U.S. headquarters is in Nashville.
The plant sits on Life's Good Way and broke ground in 2016.
A $3.2 billion cathode plant on 420 acres. As of April 2026 it was preparing to begin production and actively hiring operators and technicians, so actual headcount is still climbing toward that number, likely well below it today.
A newer, smaller addition to the corridor's EV battery supply chain.
A Hankook affiliate that has operated in Clarksville since 2018.
Identified by the state as part of the Clarksville Korean manufacturing cluster.
Announced for the Clarksville area, phasing in between 2029 and 2030.
Figures as reported by the county Economic Development Council and public project announcements. Headcounts change as plants ramp up, so treat the newer facilities' numbers as moving targets, not a final tally.
Why this matters to you
A relocation package doesn't come with a real estate agent or a lender who knows this market.
Companies like Hankook and LG can move your job. They can't tell you which Clarksville neighborhoods are a quick commute to Life's Good Way, how a Tennessee down payment assistance program works, or what a lender needs from you when your pay stubs still show an old employer.
That part is mine. I have spent 26 years originating loans in this exact market, for military families relocating to Fort Campbell and, increasingly, for the families showing up because of this manufacturing boom.
